Mark Aboulafia is a Past President of Congregation Ahavath Achim in Portland, Oregon, and longtime Gabbai and board member of the Synagogue. He is the proud great-grandson of Solomon Calvo, the first Sephardic Jew to settle in the Pacific Northwest.
