Etan Basseri writes stories about Jewish heritage, with a focus on the unique traditions of Sephardic and Mizrachi communities. He is Persian by heritage and is a member of the Sepharidc Bikur Holim Congregation in Seattle, WA.  A Turkish Rosh Hashanah is Etan's second book. A Persian Passover was published by Kalaniot Books in 2022.
