Andrés Piña has a master's degree in Social Philosophy at La Salle University in Mexico City, where he obtained an award for academic excellence. Also he has 3 books, and several of his poems, translations, and academic articles have been published in Spain, Israel, the United States, and Argentina. Currently, he participates with various research groups, to keep the Ladino or Judeo-Spanish language alive
